Manning Farms:

Manning Farms Vidalia Onion Products is the only line of such products made by an onion grower. The folks at Manning Farms have been growing Vidalia onions for over 25 years and they make their wonderful products “right on the farm” with select Vidalia onions. Ninety percent of this line is all natural (a few items contain a preservative) and they never use fillers.

All Manning Farms products contain significantly more Vidalia onions than any other line we know of. Proven recipes that sell year in and year out. One taste and you’ll know you are enjoying the real thing!

Shawnee Springs Canning Co:

Shawnee Canning Company is a family owned business that’s been making fine fruit butters and preserves in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley for five generations. Starting with forty acres in the early 1900’s, the Whitacre family orchard has grown to 350 acres of apples and peaches. About 40 years ago the family acquired the only cannery in the area and it remains the site of Shawnee Canning.

Starting with their own carefully grown fruit and that of other selected suppliers, the Whitacres use only time honored recipes to create the finest Apple, Peach, and other fruit butters as well as a broad selection of Jams and Preserves. Recently, they have added a great lineup of pickles and pickled vegetables to their offering. A quality line through and through!

JR’s World Famous Mixes:

These folks make some of the best darn peach and fruit cobbler, apple crisp, and shortcake mixes you’ll find anywhere! Tastes great, inexpensive, and easy to make. Route 11 Potato Chips:

A few years ago Route 11 fired up their first little cooker and started making chips in an old feedstore in northern Virginia. Their original quest was to pay tribute to the most popular snack food in the USA by just trying to make an excellent potato chip. Their recipe is simple: good potatoes, high quality oil, and unusually delicious seasonings. It’s amazing that something so simple can be so good!

Route 11 is still small potatoes but that’s how they like it. Their small size affords a chipper attention to detail, turning what is usually mass produced by machines into a fine art. Try ‘em…you’ll be back.

For over 35 years, Winters has been producing quality products that give customers a real taste of the old-time South.
